Matthew DeSimone

Matthew is a Senior Project Manager in Walter P Moore’s Diagnostics Group, with over 15 years of experience, specializing in evaluation, preservation, and adaptive reuse of existing structures. He began his career designing new high-rise commercial and mixed-use buildings, as well as sports and entertainment venues. Additionally, he specializes in structural analysis of complex building systems, designing modifications and retrofits for steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood systems. 

With over 15 years of diversified experience in structural design of new buildings, he has led the structural evaluation and upgrading of existing facilities. His extensive background spans multiple market sectors, including commercial, residential, sports and entertainment, and educational projects ranging from $1M to $780M in construction cost. Matthew has successfully delivered numerous high-profile projects on accelerated schedules, including fast-track design and build initiatives.
