Nicolas’ portfolio includes projects ranging from single-story facilities to 70-story towers across the West Coast and other seismically active regions. Drawing on extensive experience in structural design, analysis, and project management, Nicolas has contributed to projects across seismic regions worldwide. He is a recognized expert in concrete design and earthquake engineering, with leadership roles in the development of national building code standards, including seismic provisions for concrete structures. He has also authored widely referenced publications and guideline documents that continue to shape the seismic design of tall buildings.
