The Kansas State University Department of Athletics took their men’s and women’s basketball programs to the next level with a new state-of-the-art Basketball Training Facililty. Walter P Moore provided structural engineering services for the 50,200 square foot, two-story structure.

The facility is a fully functional practice facility for both the men’s and women’s programs. Included within are two full-size practice courts, locker rooms, player lounges and coaches offices. A 2500 square-foot weight room and adjacent state-of-the art sports medicine center with a hydrotherapy facility, and is expected to compete with the top programs in the country. Finally, a team film room with theater style seating and an entrance atrium with court viewing decks open out to the facility for donor receptions and recruiting functions.
