Adel Abd El-Nabi

Dr. Adel Abd El-Nabi is a Senior Associate and Senior Project Manager in Walter P Moore’s Diagnostics Group with over 20 years of experience in failure analysis, design, and assessment of buildings, bridges, and infrastructure systems. He specializes in building enclosure consulting, forensic analysis, litigation support, and restoration projects, leveraging advanced laboratory testing and finite element methods to evaluate complex structures.

Adel has worked on high-profile projects in the U.S. and internationally, conducting non-destructive testing using technologies such as ground penetrating radar, ultrasonic testing, and infrared imaging. A recognized thought leader, he frequently speaks at national and international symposiums and has authored numerous technical articles on structural engineering. In addition to his consulting work, Adel served as a professor at the University of Memphis, teaching courses on structural design, forensic engineering, and advanced analysis methods. He also developed a testing facility to investigate failure behavior of structures when subjected to extreme loading conditions such as wind, earthquake, blast, and flooding.
