Dr. Alireza is a Senior Associate and Senior Project Manager in Walter P Moore’s Diagnostics Group. With more than three decades of experience in the energy sector, specializing in oil and gas equipment development, mechanical engineering, and forensic investigations. He has successfully led multidisciplinary global engineering teams of more than 50 professionals in delivering complex subsea and surface equipment projects, consistently achieving on-time delivery rates exceeding 95%. Dr. Alireza also provides forensic engineering services and technical support for litigation, insurance claims, subrogation matters, and expert witness engagements involving mechanical and metallurgical failures, drawing on his extensive knowledge of API, ASME, ISO, and ASTM standards. An accomplished innovator, he holds multiple patents related to subsea connectors, monitoring systems, and offshore production technologies, underscoring his commitment to advancing engineering solutions within the energy industry.

Experience

Dr Alireza expertise includes the design, analysis, and evaluation of subsea systems, pressure vessels, piping, rotating equipment, Blowout Preventers (BOPs), connectors, risers, and offshore production systems, supported by advanced finite element and stress analysis using ANSYS and ABAQUS. He specializes in participating and leading the multidiscipline engineering in design and development of mechanical components in oil and gas, energy, and aerospace industries. He has successfully delivered several high-profile projects with accelerated schedules including fast-track design, development, testing and marketing of subsea products.
