About the Project
Walter P Moore provided structural engineering services for the 17,902-square-foot tilt-wall facility, designed as a hardened structure capable of withstanding Category 4 hurricane-level wind forces. The building houses offices, conference and work areas, storage, and server spaces for the 911 Dispatch and Information Services departments.
Additional spaces include a secure shared lobby; kitchen and break area with pantry; conference and training rooms; dispatch room; offices for dispatch coordinators, supervisors, and IT staff; quiet room; public restrooms; employee locker rooms; and various support areas for equipment, power, and mechanical systems.
