Designer - Civil

In this position, the Designer will work with a team of engineers for the pursuit, design and production of various civil engineering projects, including the following responsibilities:
- Visualize engineering concepts and translate to design drawings.
- Prepare reports, exhibits, preliminary and final site development drawings, and plan & profiles from verbal instructions, notes, and other input material from supervising engineer.
- Use Civil 3D and Civil 3D supported analysis and modeling software to perform design tasks such as site layouts, site grading, site drainage and utilities, surface modeling and analysis, creation of alignments, creation of corridors, profiles, sections, and material take-offs for cost opinions.
- Assist supervising engineer in collection of project requirements and materials for project design and documentation.
- Able to apply basic engineering design principles, theories, and practices to complete assignments and manage multiple deadlines.
- May assist supervising engineer and management as a technical specialist and advisor to mentor and train graduate engineers, and cad technicians.
- Able to conform to company standards.

Senior CAD Tech - Civil

In this position, the Designer will work with a team of engineers for the pursuit, design and production of various civil engineering projects, including the following responsibilities:
- Communicates and coordinates with clients and consultants (e.g., architects and civil/ mechanical/ electrical/ plumbing engineers) to ensure clear understanding of project goals and expectations
- Interacts with clients and team members regarding project information
- Reviews project specifications – including old drawings with site information and city block maps
- Determines and adheres to appropriate federal/state regulations
- Designs project layout and details (e.g., utility distribution, flood protection, parking, and traffic flow, etc.) using appropriate design software
- Spot-checks calculations and back-checks plan mark-ups and completed drafting

Graduate Enclosure Consultant - Diagnostics

In this position the qualified individual will investigate and determine the service life of building enclosure assemblies. The qualified individual will assess enclosure systems, and design repairs for existing enclosure systems. They will perform enclosure review to assess air infiltration, rain water control, heat transfer, and vapor transmission. They will perform building performance analysis including evaluate daylighting, solar heat gain, thermal energy transfer, and holistic integration of the enclosure with building mechanical, lighting, and plumbing systems.A sound technical background and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. A technical background in CADD and building performance modeling software is preferred. You'll develop a strong background in building façade and roofing assemblies, understanding of building science and thermal analysis concepts as well as a knowledge of modeling building performance and sustainability.Job Responsibilities will include:
- Assist Project Manager with project tasks.
- Review and organize project-related documents.
- Research building codes and industry standards.
- Write assessment reports.
- Perform field investigations, including non-destructive testing, travel required.
