• Tax Compliance o Review US tax returns and related reports to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local tax statues, R&D tax study and regulations by working with external tax consultants to properly interpret tax laws and regulationso Oversee international tax and compliance procedures, and ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place and documented for tax compliance for the following jurisdictions:       Canada, Latin America, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealando Oversees transfer pricing process and for international subsidiaries o Reviews accounting records ensuring tax transactions are recorded accurately in financial systemso Research and implementation of tax processes, and makes appropriate recommendations from a tax perspectiveo Manages tax disputes and resolutions, including auditso Reviews preparation of audit work papers for external auditors related to tax compliance

We are seeking to hire a qualified Design Engineer with experience in steel design, steel connection design, and structural analysis. The role of Senior Engineer in the Construction Engineering Practice Area is to conceive and develop steel connection systems, perform staged construction analysis of structures, and perform construction phase services. Position requires impeccable written and spoken communication skills with frequent interactions with clients, architects, contractors, and owners. Other responsibilities include:

We are currently looking for an Senior Engineer in our Philadelphia office.  This individual will be responsible for: 

• Performing structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel or other miscellaneous structures
• Creating analysis models and interpreting results for 2D and 3D structural frames
• Assisting with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review
• Understanding load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculating applicable loads based on appropriate building codes
