Doug Coenen is a Senior Principal and Senior Business Developer in the firm’s Houston civil engineering practice, where he leads client engagement and supports the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. He works closely with teams to ensure quality, consistency, and technical excellence across the practice.
His expertise includes site development, roadway design, hydraulics and hydrology, and flood protection, with a focus on delivering resilient, high-performing infrastructure. Doug also brings experience in forensic engineering, supporting the evaluation and resolution of complex site and infrastructure issues.

Doug’s experience spans the planning, design, and management of projects across healthcare, commercial, institutional, government, and park environments. He has led multidisciplinary teams on site and infrastructure projects, including facility upgrades and rehabilitation efforts.
