As Managing Director of the firm’s Diagnostics practice in Washington, DC, Steve leads multidisciplinary teams delivering structural due diligence and advisory services for complex, fast-track projects. He also serves as the companywide Mission Critical Market Sector Leader for Diagnostics, helping guide strategy, standards, and technical alignment across offices.

Steve’s practice focuses on the evaluation and upgrading of existing buildings for mission-critical use, with particular emphasis on feasibility studies and strengthening strategies that balance constructability, performance, risk, adaptability for future capacity, and speed to market. His work supports informed decision-making early in the project life cycle while maintaining long-term asset performance.

Steve brings extensive experience in structural engineering, renovation, and diagnostics, with a focus on transforming existing buildings into high-performance mission-critical facilities. He is frequently engaged by owners, investors, and operators to assess structural risk, validate design assumptions, and support acquisition, due diligence, and early design decisions.

His expertise spans complex renovations, adaptive reuse, historic rehabilitation, and large-scale mission-critical developments, including hyperscale data center campuses. By connecting technical analysis with project delivery and operational requirements, Steve provides practical, reliable solutions that support both immediate execution and long-term facility performance.
