Designer - Civil

In this position, the Designer will work with a team of engineers for design and production of various civil engineering projects, including the following responsibilities:
- Understand and follow instructions from Supervising engineer for engineering concepts and translate to design drawings.
- Prepare exhibits, preliminary and final site development drawings, and plan & profiles from verbal instructions, notes, and other input material from supervising engineer.
- Use Civil 3D and Civil 3D supported analysis and modeling software to perform design tasks such as site layouts, site grading, site drainage and utilities, surface modeling and analysis, creation of alignments, creation of corridors, profiles, sections, and material take-offs for cost opinions.
- Able to apply basic engineering design principles, theories, and practices to complete assignments and help the supervising engineer manage multiple deadlines.
- May act as a technical specialist and advisor to mentor and train graduate engineers, and cad technicians.
- Able to conform to company standards.
- Able to organize and maintain project related information per company’s requirements and standards.
Senior Engineer I/ II - Civil

Includes managing a small team of engineers and technicians in the Pune/ Bangalore/ Ahmedabad office. In addition this individual would have to coordinate design work being shared by the project managers and engineers from the United States. Technical specialization and personal initiative are pluses.
- Experience of working on master planning and design projects in India is a must. US project experience is a plus
- Leads in the engineering design of civil engineering scope including site planning, roadway, water, waste water design, and storm water drainage
- Performs specific engineering studies, engineering calculations, and other design analysis using industry software
- Evaluates the work of technical staff
- Manages projects and technicians in the performance of master planning, land/site development projects, public roadways and drainage projects, and related work including technical design, quality control, and project management.
- Leads in the development of technical documentation, specification, drawings, requisitions, proposals, and presentation to clients
- Sound technical design background
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D is must and other design software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Indian design codes & standards is must. Knowledge of U.S. design codes and standards is a plus
- Related local experience required.
Design Engineer I - Civil
