2nd career choice, if not an engineer?
A food or travel blogger, for sure!
Outside of professional activities, what other causes, organizations, activities, hobbies, etc. do you enjoy?
I'm very passionate about two things — mentoring and teaching the younger people in our community about the AEC industry and empowering the women in our industry to do and be more. To that end, I am involved in the ACE mentor program and also sit on the advisory board for the Structural Engineering program at Cal Poly, SLO. I am also actively involved in the Women in SE committee of SEAOSC and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
What is something most people don’t know about you?
Most people don't know that my first language was French and that I played water polo through college.
