Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land

Deemed as the first of its kind in the region, The Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land (formerly the Ace Center) is a brand new indoor performance venue designed to host a wide range of performances, including national music and comedy artists, children’s and family entertainment, theatrically staged productions, graduations, and performing arts attractions. The iconic elements of the design include a large, curved glass wall encasing a curved bowl that houses the audience chamber and stage.

The venue was conceived and designed for flexibility, creating several venues within one building. Through the use of innovative moveable walls, Sugar Land’s facility literally expands and contracts to create intimate settings for audiences anywhere from 3,300 to over 6,400. The venue features comfortable, spacious theater seating, luxury suites, corporate hospitality areas, quality finishes, and convenient parking. It also creates an iconic landmark visible to motorists on U.S. Highway 59 and will anchor a mixed-used development envisioned to include retail, office, commercial, and residential spaces surrounding a public plaza, and a full-service hotel and conference center.
